Join our team as a Pharmacist Consultant!
In this vital role, you will provide essential pharmacy consulting services to customers, focusing on effective medication usage, identifying drug interactions, and delivering preventive healthcare services, such as immunizations. Your responsibilities will also include the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications while complying with regulatory standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Engage with customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer inquiries promptly to enhance their experience.
- Develop strong relationships with customers by anticipating their needs and proactively offering services to improve overall satisfaction.
- Participate in community events to promote products and health services.
- Operations: Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, and interactions. Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Assist in optimizing pharmacy workflow, ensuring effective staffing, and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Manage insurance claims processing to prevent payment issues and follow up with medical providers for clarifications.
- Conduct wellness services, including immunizations and health awareness programs.
- People & Performance Management: Support the Pharmacy Manager in hiring and training staff. Motivate team members through effective performance monitoring and recognition.
- Training & Personal Development: Stay updated on pharmacy practices and pursue necessary certifications and training.
